440ml can from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Dark brown with a slight translucency and a quickly dissipating khaki head. Some gentle chocolate aroma with bourbon, vanilla, stone fruit, ash... a lot to take in. Taste starts sweet and leads to an ashy whiskey sourness, some raisin, chocolate, treacle on the more balanced finished. Light body for the style, carbonation on the low side. Pretty impressive stuff if not among the greatest of imperial stouts.

Keg at London Craft Beer Festival 2023. Bright red with lace. Chocolate nibs in the nose first, then cherry, lactic acid vanilla cream. Sweet and sour flavor, big chocolate, then cherry. Fun.

Keg at London Craft Beer Festival 2023. Honey, lemon, biscuits, pissy hops in the nose. Flavor is vanilla, caramel, honey. Reminds me of a young, bourbon barrel aged Speyside scotch. Kind of crazy.

Can. Opaque brown beer, small tan head. Light palate for the abv, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth if slightly thin for the style dark malts. Sweet dark chocolate. Well integrated sweet nuts. Mild estery sweetness marries well with the overall sweetness. Light smooth finish brings a touch of boozy chocolate that works well here. Quite a sweet pastry stout but goes down easy.
