Can shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours thick black with a thin tan head. Aromas of coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is roasted nuts, dark chocolate, coffee beans. Thick and sweet.

Can from Brewdog Lothian Rd, Edinburgh. Appearance - dark brown to black. Crema head. Nose - coffee, molasses and light smoke. Taste - more molasses and rock candy. Palate - creamy and medium bodied plus. Long linger. Overall - good.

Black beer, beige head. Smells creamy and malty. Vanilla, a bit of a praline, nutty feel to it and a good toasty malt hit in there as well, with a nice dry nutty finish. Could go a touch richer but it's very tasty.

Keg at the Barrel and Horn, Bromley. Pours a murky gold with a white head. Grapefruit, wheat,grain,straw an a whisper of apple in the nose. Flavours of baked apple, grapefruit, wheat. Herby bitter finish. Very good.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate and fairly dry and have decent fine minerally carbonation. Rhubarb and custard sweets, clear but a little recessed and not as sweet as the real thing. No real Rhubarb sharpness. Floral rhubarb custard finish. Amusing but could be even bolder!

19/1/2019. Can from Eel & Bear, Hastings shared at the second Kesgrave 50/50 bottle share. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of hops, malt, chocolate and citrus with a light roasting. Moderate sweetness with medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, average carbonation. Chocolate, hoppy, bitter finish. Pretty decent.
