Description
Siren Craft Brew exists to encourage more people to enjoy, fall for and experiment with craft beer. The Sirens of Greek mythology would entice mariners with their magical songs. Their voices would entwine into a complex, layered melody. At Siren Craft Brew, we work in a similar way, combining four ingredients that interact together in magical ways to create our ales. Each beer is individual, overflowing with flavour, aroma and texture. Each holds its own secret. Each is a little dangerous. Liquid Mistress, Under Current, Sound Wave and Broken Dream are here to tease, sway and persuade. They gently beckon you to a new world of taste. Let yourself be carried away. Be enticed…

0.44 L can shared with Ogi at Pivoljub, Ljubljana. Clear golden, small off-white head. Aroma is tropical candy, wouldn't really detect any citrus here. Hints of grapefruit peel in the flavour, mostly salty lime. Sweet and salty. Malts underneath. Light tartness. Smooth, light body, soft texture. Dry finish.

0.44 L can shared with Ogi at Pivoljub, Ljubljana. Hazy yellow, small off-white head. Aroma is intensely tropical, overwhelming, although not too artificial. Lots of guava at first, some other tropical fruit and citrus. Flavour is sweet guava, tropical fruit juice, some malts, very light bitter touch. Not unpleasant but one-sided. Smooth, juicy, finishes sweet and candy-like.

Can. Near clear paleish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a medium sweetness. 2025 Nelson delivers again. Light winey grape, a little skunk, perhaps a touch of gooseberry if you are looking for it. Light and semi dry finish. Not the most complex of DIPAs but after many years of bloody flaccid NS, I am digging this years crop a lot and it's nicely delivered by Siren.
