Bottle to becher glass.
Appearance: dark copper/bronze color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: grassy/earthy/floral hop tones with a little bit of tobacco, dried citrus and a caramel/toffee malt backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a gritty bitter to bittersweet quality; finishes malty driven, tobacco-ish and grassy
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, not exactly smooth, plenty enough hop bitterness pummels the tongue and dries it out
Overall: like I always say, well, thanks for the beer tick.

Draught from brooklyneer. Poured a cloudy off yellow. Kind of not so awesome. Maybe cream ale just sucks.

Big pounder 1$ can off clearance rack. Pour is big and black & large and in-charge. Certainly has as good of eye as any foaming head black stout. Can looks just like the one pictured. Nose is quite acceptable, makes my mouth water a bit with its malty, mildly-spiced, olfactory. I think I also smell a hint of coffee in the background. With a big gulp of this, right from the can, it has me thinking it's much better balanced than your typical pumpkin beer; I can actually handle this. It's not over the top in pumpkin spices, and I think I can get the actual pumpkin in there behind the well behaved dark friendly aged damp charred campfire wood stout. So many pumpkin beers are so far off balance that all you get is heavy spices, not this. Has a small amount of welcomed cutting carbonation in the middle. Near the end it starts to geta little flat, and the stout almost begin to get a little cloying; but it never quite gets there. One of the better pumpkin beers I've done lately. Hides its alky content well.

16 ounce can. Barely translucent dark brown color. Thick, frothy tan head. Roasted malt aroma is well hidden by the plethora of pumpkin pie spices. Notes of cinnamon, ginger, vanilla and nutmeg. Flavor follows nose. Some roastiness comes through on backend. Quite tasty.

16oz can. Cranberry colored pour, spotty head. Light aroma of grape juice. Taste is sweet with more grape presence. Some jelly like flavors. Toasty malts buried underneath the fruit.
