Cask ale, half pint at Fortescue Hotel. Solid lacing from a low beige head. Amber-orange coloured body, near clear. Proper honeyed malts on the nose. Malt-accented flavours with hints of caramel and honey. More sweet than bitter to the ending. Average for the style, more or less (Shared with Finn, Plymouth 26.09.2016).

Bottle split at Chris & Ruth’s pre GBBF Shindig, 07/08/16. Lightly hazed orange amber with a decent beige cap. Nose is bitter fruit rinds, orange peel, straw, light spice. Taste comprises ripe fruits, orange, grains, light spice, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so - a touch harsh and unrefined.
