Draught @ Borefts 12. Opaque brown color, small beige head. Smell malts, sweetness. Taste malts, dried fruits, sweetness. A bit silky mouthfeel, medium body, low to medium carbonation.

Aroma is a a bit grassy and earthy. Has a creamy texture and soft roasted malt bitterness. Texture is quite watery. Slight lactose acidity in the finish.

Granny Smith apple skin come through in the aroma and also flavour. Has a strange type of fructose sweetness. Nice sharp edge but not really like an IPA.

Draft @ Borefts 2012. A light dark brown amber with a lightly tanned head - smells of dark fruits, brown bread and malts + Belgian yeast - overall pretty Belgian like but not an overly impressive attempt although certainly not per se bad - medium sweet malts, belgian yeast, lighter slightly ripe dark fruits, raisins light brown sugar and toffee - medium bodied

Draft at Borefts. Hazy variegated amber gold color, thick. Eige head aroma of dusty and slightly funky caramel. Taste is bitter and peppery caramel. Decent.

On tap at 4th Borefts. Cloudy amber colour with average, beige head. Nice if standard smoke malt aroma. Taste is smoky, sightly sourish and bitter, a bit watery; late appearing roasty malty notes in the finish come too late. Slightly light bodied. 7/3/6/2/13. 300ml bottle. Clear dark amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lasting, off-white head. This time with fuller body, more elaborated caramel and smoke malt notes. 7/3/7/3/14

On tap at BBF’12. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of good coffee, cream, chocolate, hard roasted malts. Flavour is hard roasted malts, coffee + cream, milky, green tea, milk chocolate, bitter finish. Decent. Light-bodied.

On tap at BBF’12. Hazy orange colour, white head. Aroma of a Belgian blond beer with extra hops, fruity, yeast, grass, pine. Flavour is medium sweet, fruity, pineapple, pine, grass, caramel, bitter herbal finish. Light to medium bodied. OK.
