Half-pint, gravicask at Cowes Ale House. Shared with Finn. Fair lacing from a filmy layer. Moderate smell of leafy hops and grain. Mid-dry ripe fruity flavours, leafy hops, and a mild malty sweetness base. Short, drying bitter ending. Quite okay British bitter. (Cowes 20.10.2022).

Gravicask at The 14th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival 2022, Marquee Bar. Dark brown in body appearance, filmy layer, spotty lacing. Aromas of caramel malts and dried fruits. Bread, caramel, and dark fruits to the taste character. Drying end, bittersweet input. Fine bodied. Pretty good. (Nottingham 13.10.2022).

Bottle from Co-op, Sandown. Aroma has light grains, light berries and is a tad floral. Clear light brown. Thick foamy off-white head. Initial sour berry, followed by sweet sugary fruit. Bitter edge throughout. Light. Thin. Lifted by soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Enjoyable sweet bitter.

Bottle in the Wight Taste Cafe on the Wight Link ferry on the way over to the islands. Aroma is sweet and citrusy. Clear gold. Thin bubbly translucent white head. Medium bitter. Citrus tart with a grainy bready streak. Light. Thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Nice enough Gold.

Pandaaaa, enormous thanks SHIG! My first Isle Of Wight tick! Dark amber-red body, off-white head. Sweetish fruity aroma, estery stone fruit, creamy, lightly caramelly, grainy. Lean, dry taste, lightly caramelly, ending herbal, bitterish and dry, yay, twiggy bitter! Trace coffee. Pretty okay beer all in all, not exciting, not bad.
