About
Open since 2000, Moat Mountain Smoke House is a 174-seat brewpub, restaurant, and inn located in one of North Conway's most historic buildings. In addition to our flagship location, we recently restored the Limmer Barn in Intervale, NH, opening the Moat Mountain Brewing Company Brewery Barn and Cannery in 2013.
Our speciality craft beers are distributed across Maine, Massachusetts, and of course, New Hampshire for everyone to enjoy in the majority of our New England home.

Our smokehouse prides itself on having a predominant in-house, scratch recipes sourced from local resources right here in North Conway.

Whether you're coming in to sit down with the family, or meeting some friends for beers and apps, you're welcomed at our brew pub to enjoy all ends of the spectrum of hospitality, great beers, and some amazing eats.

Tap at Cask and Vine. Deep golden color with a small white head that dissipates. Tart fruity earthy and funky with a bit of alcohol especially in the finish. Not bad a bit strong.

Can. A- Subtle pine, subtle citrus, bready. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Mild bitterness, slightly grassy, subtle biscuits, mild pine, straw. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- I’m picking up something I can’t quite place. Not bad. I could drink this. Wouldn’t buy it myself but it’s far from offensive.

Almost frozen from a poundre can. Drank right fromt eh can. Cold as ice. Barely any co2. Bitter initial impact like an IPA. Slight hop perfume nose. Yes, in the end this is almost an IPA if it is not one form the start.

pounder can as pictured. Fairly fresh tasting. Pretty civilized. Does have a pilsner bite but its mild and easy going, I like this. Reserved. Not bad. Better than expected.

Directly from 16 oz can purchased in NH. Its pale yellah. Taste is mild compared to many helles latgers. Goes down rather easy and its repeatable. Not bad, comes across like many well made pale lagers.

Canned 11/5/16, drunk 12/5/16.
Clear, drab brass with a medium-sized white head showing moderate to moderately-low retention.
Fruity and fairly aromatically hoppy in the nose, with a West Coast tilt that adds moderate pine and strong grapefruit, though it doesn’t get resinous/sour. Malts are sparse and remain in the background, adding typical biscuit and very light hints of caramel. Clean, no alcohol noted.
Well-carbonated with a moderately malty, well-attenuated texture with notes of honey and light caramel. Leafy, coniferous, green hops begin with light pine and lemon and slowly move to a stronger grapefruit flavor. Fairly crisp finish helps disperse some of the hops acids and overall it remains quite drinkable and clean.

Tap at John Goffe’s Bedford. Solid dark brown with a minimal head. Earthy caramel and light chocolate on the nose. Flavor follows with some roast and hints of dark pitted fruits. Decent porter.

Tall-boy. small pour. a yellow pink beer very clear, looks like watered down blueberry juice. Has a fake blueberry aroma and vanilla. hmmm, it’s very light, hay, straw, blueberry syrup, maple and wheat. refreshing just has a boring dull finish with too much sweetness.

Pours deep gold into a shaker. White head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Dark caramel and resin aromas. Soft with dank resin and bready caramel upfront turning to cedar and earthy resin in the lasting finish.
