Description
Lymm Brewing Co is a very small, family run micro brewery located in the village of Lymm.

Following the same philosophies as our sister brewery - Dunham Massey Brewing Company - we brew high quality traditional North Western style real ale.

The brewery itself is situated in the same building as our purpose built real ale bar, The Brewery Tap. You can find out more about both below.

Golden colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of floral hop notes. Nicely balanced.

Sample@GBBF2018, London, with the Malmö crew - amber pour with a off white head. Toasted and sweet bready malty, some caramel, medium body, soft carbonation, twiggy hoppy bitter finish.

9/8/2018. Cask at the Great British Beer Festival. Pours golden to amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of biscuit, fruit, malt, flower, hops and a little butter. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask (gravity) @ MBCF17 [ Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2017 ] Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill Street, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M2 3GX. [ As Lymm Chirotherium ].Clear medium to dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, chocolate, cocoa, frutiy malt, tobacco. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, dark fruit - sweet dark fruit, prune - figs. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Copper colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of malt sweetness. Some light caramel too.

Cask-conditioned at Bristol Beer Festival, 24/3/2017. Amber in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Sweetish, berry fruit, some biscuity malts, leafy hops and moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Manchester Beer Festival 2017. Dark ale with dark malts, but they are a little more roasted in design with a strength to them.

Bottle from Nancy’s Deli, Lymm. Cloudy amber with a small head. Strong tasting with a stewed fruitiness throughout its character.

Very dark brown with a red hue and a creamy head. Has elements of bitter cocoa and a little bit of red fruit. Really rich and smooth.
