Can, gift from my brother. Hazy bronze body with a thick white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon drops, dusty malt and sponge cake. Flavour of underripe pineapple and lemongrass. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Sweet and lemony.

Can shared at Chris & Ruth’s pre-GBBF Shindig 2017 - Part 1. A hazy pale bright golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of mild citrusy hops, yellow fruits, pale malt. Taste of mild grassy bitter hops, citrus, some pineapple, good!

Bottle from Honest Beer. It pours pretty hazy bright gold with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, quite juicy, zesty, orange, tangerine, mandarin, brioche and toasted oat. The taste is dry, good hit of bitterness, zesty, pine, grapefruit, orange peel, mandarin, kumquat, tangerine, pine, touch of piss with a firmly dry finish. Light - medium body and fine, massaging carbonation. Fresh and well - rounded. Drinks very well.

Bottle from the Ale House, Chelmsford. Historic rating. Poured hazy amber with an average sized off-white head leaving good lacing. Aroma of caramel, malt, a godd level of citrusy hop, grapefruit and floral notes. Medium to heavy sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, and soft carbonation.

Tasting at Leighton’s Flat. Almost clear gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Like the Amber this has quite a lactose nose. Sweet pale malts. Sourish tangy dried fruits. Orange peel bitterness. Light semi dry finish. Meh!

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours clear golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is toast, grainy, sherbet, orange peel, grass and earth. The taste is crisp, bitter, sherbet, metallic notes, orange peel, toast, dough and cereal with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. More punchy hops please. A simple APA.
