Cask at EBF ’18, 07/08/14. Clear golden with a good sized off white head. that retains. Nose is citric peel, bread dough, lemon rind, floral hint. Taste comprises lemon rind, citric wash, straw, faint bread notes, light hop presence. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterness. Ok, looks and feels good but not a great deal in the middle.

Cask @ Egham Beer Festival. Clear orange color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly fruity, a hint of tropical fruits, nicely bitter, but unfortunately also a slight hint of butter. Average body and carbonation.

Chelmsford Summer Beer Fest. Cask. Hazy deep gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and dry. Light spice, bitter floralnes. Light citrus underneath. Light semi dry finish, bitter linger. A favourite of the bar staff, but for me a fine golden and nothingbto get excited about.

Chelmsford Summer Beer Fest. Cask. Almost.opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts with a nice light touch of dark chocolate. Whisper of coffee. Touches of lactose and dark fruits. Light.dry finish. The chocolate saves this one from mediocrity.

Cask at the Prince of Wales, Farnborough. Bright amber with a loose white head; aroma of traditional hops; full of flavour, with rich chewy malts, Kentish hops and marmalade; and a sharp, concentrated, herbal bitterness to finish, leaving a trace of grapefruit. An excellent, refreshing bitter.
