Can, courtesy of Cunningham. Best before 20210514, so I guess I'm not opening it too early. It's lightly carbonated, leaving a thin dark beige head. Dark brown body, seems lightly hazy. The aroma is sure of the malty kind, with toffee, dark dried fruit, chocolate and some coffee. Hints of brown sugar and licorice, or perhaps more in the direction of molasses. There's alcohol going on too, but in a very gentle way. It's warming on the palate though, full-bodied and nicely carbonated, with more sweetness than bitterness. Both present though. The flavor has lots of toffee and a good dash of dark chocolate and some dark dried fruit. Alcohol, coffee and brown sugar, with some piney hoppy hints. Quite sweet, but dries up a bit towards the finish. A really nice one, thanks a lot Henrik. 240709

Nice and dangerously easy drinkable dobbelbock. Clear deep amber pour and a fine beige head. Good lacing. Fine intensity in the aroma. Balanced sweetness and a fine carbonation level. Toffee, dried fruits and some chocolate in the flavor. Some alcohol coming up. [Can from The Brewery]

Can. Thx to whoever from Jæren I got this, highly appreciated. The best before date was difficult to read, but looks like some time in Nov 2028 or 2019. No problem for this beer, it's still smashing. Not much oxidation going on either. Roasted malts, toffee, molasses, some coffee and licorice and a hint of dark dried fruit in the aroma. Just a vague hint of alcohol even though it's at double digits ABV. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and very softly carbonated, quite sweet, yet with a dryish touch. Roasted malts, molasses, dark chocolate, toffee, prune, raisin and some bitterness in the flavor. Brown sugar notes towards the end, along with a good dash of salty licorice and some alcohol. Warming and long lasting finish. Sure a fine one, pity Ego closed down, they brewed quite a few fine beers. 240405

Canned. Hazy yellow colour with a small white head. Citrus, mango and some biscuity tones in aroma. Flavour is grains, some floral, ripe fruity and mild herbal tones. Somewhat dry palate compared to the other I am beers.

Canned. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is citrus, some mango, peach, sweet malts and mild passion fruit as well. Flavour is sweet malts, peach, passion fruit, mild herbal and some caramelly tones as well.

Canned (from Vinmonopolet, drank at Vuotson Maja B&B). Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is dried fruits, some toffee, mild alcohol and some hoppy floral tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, alcohol, some dried fruits, mild earth and some plum.

Canned (Thanks SADESA!). Hazy goldeny orange colour with a mediumszed white head. Aroma is yeast, some fruits, eard and some floral tones. Flavour is green apple skins, yeast, some earth, herbs and mild grainy elements.

Canned (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity and some slight tartness. Flavour is fruity, floral, tartness and quite dry.
