330 ml can, as Ego Snø Jule Wit, from Det Gode Brygg, Sandnes. ABV is 4.7%. Hazy yellow colour, large white head, Traditional witbier aroma of coriander seeds and orange peel. Citric mouthfeel. Flavour of citrus / orange peel and coriander seeds again, but also an unexpected (for the style) bitterness of hops, and possibly also dead yeast cells.

Can. A black beer topped by a small brown head. Roasted malts, a touch of burnt malts, some dark dried fruits and treacle in the aroma. It's full to medium bodied, sweet and lightly carbonated, with a bit much burnt malts in the flavor I think. Else it's roasted malts, treacle and dark dried fruits, prune mostly. Lasting finish. Sure a dark one, but a bit unbalanced due to the levels of sweetness and burnt malts. 200613

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pours an airy white head over a next-to-clear golden body. Rings of lace down the glass. Moderate leafy malts on the nose, lightly spiced. Quite well balances taste profile of forest, grass and juniper joined by kveik yeast to the ending. Medium bodied. Satisfying. (Vertical tasting of the I am Kveik series, Tromsø 28.07.2020).
