On tap at the brewery. Pours with a hazy brown hued body with a large off-white head. Aromas are nutty, toasty, bready, malty, low esters and some minerals. Flavors are toasty, bready, nutty, easy drinking, oatmeal. Some complexity. Nice. Creamy, slightly too intense carbonation, medium bodied.

On tap (full pint) at the brewery. Pours with a clear bronze hued body with an off-white head. Aromas are brown sugar, plums, fruity, dates and figs. Flavors are sweet, very sweet, marmalade, esters, tropical fruit, grassy and a bit of bug spray. Very very sweet, not helped by low carbonation, and a fuller body. Evident alcohol. Really hard to drink, especially a full pint. Not the best work of theirs.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy weak yeasty aroma with hoppy hints. Fruity malty spicy and slightly tart yeasty citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy slightly tart finish.

Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 beers this beer poured a caramel-brown color with a small foamy tan head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was sour with toasted caramel, fig and Worcestershire sauce. The flavor was sour toasted caramel, fig, apple, Worcestershire sauce and tobacco with an astringent and medicinal undertone. Medium length finish of caramel, apple and Worcestershire sauce. Medium body though a bit undercarbonated. Disappointing.

Bottle shared at tasting at my house. Pours amber gold with white head. Nose and taste of fruit, lemongrass, yeast, earthy hops and hint of alcohol in the finish. Medium body.

Bottle 750ml. corked.Unclear medium orange amber colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light heavy malty, caramel, fruity, dusty - sharp, baking yeast, cherry. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, fizzy, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is fizzy - soft. [20121109]

On tap at sourfest. Pours with a murky, deep brown hued body with a lasting tan head. Aromas are hugely fruity, under ripe plum, acetaldehyde, alcohol, pear drops, acetone and caramel. Flavors are of alcohol, malty, pear, acetaldehyde, and acetone. Medium to full carbonation, sweet-tart interplay.

On tap. Bourbon Barrel Stock Porter. Pours with a deep brown body with a large and creamy tan head. Aromas are of brown sugar, dark fruit, vinous, Laffy Taffy, mild diacetyl, mineral, barrel and some acidity. Flavors are tart, tobacco, woody barrel character, brown sugar, soil, and some sort of cocktail or liquor that I cannot place. Almost aperol like. Lively carbonation, dry, a bit creamy.
