750 ml bottle–thanks to a generous trader-pours hazy copper with a tan head. Aroma is light/medium fruit, malty/wheat. Taste is light/medium fruit-pear, spice hops, rye/malty/wheat-caramel/toast. 3.4 OK, as it warms, [1st glass I let warm to maybe 40, 2nd glass to mid/upper 40s] nice softening and some more esters+flavors. 3.8

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy orsnge with a small white head. Toasted malty and light wooden aroma. Citric, tart and fruity. Light milky and mild caramelish to wooden. Smooth fruity finish.

On tap. Pours with a large white head with good lace left over a hazy golden body. Ring per sip type of lace. Aromas are grainy, tea like, low phenol, mild esters, light citrus, peppery, 4vg. On the bland/muted side. Flavors are of tea, apricot like esters, malty, sweet for a saison, very fruit forward. Pluots. Light herbal hop character. Low carbonation for the style with a fuller body. Could use some work.

So good to be #10 rater. 750 c&c from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Batch No. 81. Opens with a cannon shot. Pours light gold with a fizzy/creamy white head. Aroma is mildly bready with some grassy hop. Med + body. The carb is very frothy. There’s a lot of grass, and the breadiness is not obnoxious. The BC may be a bit over the top, but there’s an incredible amount of flavor. The bitter is tearing at my jaw hinges. This after finishing off a Evil Twin Freudian Slip. I’m nominating this one for an Imperial Pilsner. Excellent lager (and I’m not a friend of those for the most part).

Bottle from a generous trader. Pours muddy brown with beige head. Nose/taste of dusty grains, dark fruit, cherry, dust, charred wood, malt and caramel. Moderate acidity. Finishes with dark fruits and grains. Dryish. Medium body.

Draught. Arbitrary score 4/5 for Appearance, as nighttime conditions prevented correct assessment. Faintly fruity, some esters, baked banana. Sweet, lots of banana, but (somewhat) cleaner finish. Low carbonation, but not flat; creamy texture. Oh weel. It’s supposedly a style one cannot call steam...
