75 cL bottle batch 95 from the beer of the month club. Pours clear dark brown with fluffy light brown head. Light body, highly carbonated, and allspice aroma. Taste is light roasted malt, allspice, some cinnamon, some bakers chocolate, some chiles, and herbal hop finish. This is darker than I expected, pretty light tasting, and different, but nothing I will seek out.

Draft at Imbibe Wine. Nose is lightly flowery and white bread type yeast. Urine yellow with a big heavy lacing white head. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet, and a hint of caramel flavorwise. Not bitter enough for a good pils.

Had this at Ratebeer’s Horny Devil Pittsburgh Winter Tasting 2012. Big thanks to Lithy for this beer. Pale yellow, has very little head, if any. Just a tad sweet on the nose. Nice fine creamy sizzling co2. This beer is very well behaved. Fun and good. Overall a very mild quite refined brew that I was really glad to have the chance to taste. Berliner, YUM! Iwish more of this style was readily availble in this area.

Bottle from batch 99. Pours with a hazy, deep copper-orange hued body with a massive, lightly tan head. Odd aromas. Estery, apricot, fruity, banana, dried stone fruit, earthy, dusty, cocoa, coffee, mild roast, vanilla, anise, pepper and dates. Flavors are of dried banana, plantains, vanilla and chocolate. Earthy, tons of cereal character, lightly tangy yeast esters. Earthy chocolate. Lively bubbles, light tartness, fruity and dry. Estery finish. Weird beer. Not bad, but very strange.

Draft at Churchkey. Hazy golden color, large thick cream colored head, slid lacing. Aroma of pine > grass > light spice. Taste is very bitter and lager like.

Bottle courtesy of noodleuser, thanks Joel! Cloudy yellow color. Aroma of lemon and grapefruit rind. Taste is banana, bubblegum, citrus. Nice.

Bottle thanks to joeneugs. Pours a hazy orangish amber with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma ha a good amount of sweet fruit, with a bit of alcohol and backing rye. Flavor begins with sweet grains and fruit, but has a good amount of rye the comes out in the finish and a hint of hopiness.

Sample at Bruery Provisions. Pours a reddish-brown color with a medium beige head that recedes steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Sweet spices like ginger and allspice in the nose, plus a bit of malt. Medium body with flavors of cinnamon, ginger, bready malt and caramel. The finish is sweetly spiced with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at Bruery Provisions. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium thick white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Clingy rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grainy malt and mild hops. Medium body with flavors of spicy hops, bready malt and a bit of tart fruit. The finish is is malty with a touch of rye in the aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft. Rich brown beer with a cream colored head. Toffee and dark fruit aroma with earth and oak. Red fruit and oak flavor with light toffee and earth. Medium bodied. Red fruit and oak lingers with light toffee and light tartness.
