Tap. Pours clear chestnut with a medium tan creamy head that leaves decent lacing. Aroma is very spicy, with notes of allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, toffee. Flavor is super spiced, hard to find a beer in there, sweet with a mild zesty bitterness. Medium body. Pleasant enough, but not really a beer. I was getting tired of it after four ounces.

Botte, 75cl. A dense, two-finger light beige head sits on top of an unclear, amber body. The aroma has a fruity, sugary touch, like the syrup from canned peaches. Some dark sugar too, hints of caramel. It’s quite effervescent, full-bodied and dry, even though the taste has quite a lot of sweetness. Peaches and sugar, some yeasty hints. Peachy, sweetish finish. Well, a quite weird one, I’m not really sure what to think of it. 121109

Pours slightly hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, peach, yeast, tart and vinegar. Taste is medium sweet and light sour with a long malty and sour finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ FOneFan. Hazy dark amber with medium foamy off-white head. Aroma is malt, little cherries and baking yeast. Flavour is malt, high carbonation, slight metallic, light cherries, hop and a little bitter.

Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 beers this beer poured a nut brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized beige head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was dryish, woody and a bit nutty with a vague dark fruit undertone. The flavor was dry, bitter, nutty and wood with faint notes of tobacco, roasty malts, and vague fruits. Medium length dry finish with nut and wood lingering. Light to medium body. Eh.
