Bottle from Simon Cheese. Thanks! Aroma is somewhat unmild-esque. Big and punchy from the adjuncts. Vinous too. Flavawise we have a vinous dry sour streak. The OG mild is lurking close by; coffee and cacao. Juicy berries into the close. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Watching Malignent and [SPOILER ALERT] this makes me think of it; two beers in one, a mild and a sour.

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April 23. Misty pale gold appearance, small white head. Fresh wild aromatics to start, subtle salt and sea arrowgrass coming through, though I'm not entirely sure what that should taste like. Im guessing salty and sea-like. Really nicely presented gose anyway, light and super refreshing with gentle tart fruity moments. Great start to the evening.

17th April 2023; Shrewsbury Beer Exchange in Chez Sophie, five guys drinking and chatting with plenty of snacks. Cheers Mat for the 75cl bottle of this, our first beer of the evening. Misty dull lemon body, wispy white collar. Semi-sour and salty from start to finish.

Bottle online from Red Elephant, Truro. Pours dark amber brown with a beige cap. Aroma: plum jam, caramel, toffee, dried fruit, light funky, the merest of smoky hints. Taste: light to moderate sweet, chocolate, light smoke, some funk, dried fruits, light barrel character. Medium body with moderate carbonation. It;s never a rauchbier for me but very enjoyable all the same.

2nd July 2022; Tilt Tasting, cheers Cheeseboard for this. Deep amber body, beige head. Grubby woodyard with berries, not really my sort of thing. Scored objectively.

Tilt Tasting; 2nd July 2022. Cheers Cheeseboard for this. Wispy white head on a hazy golden body. Tart feel to the wine like nature, not really my thing, rosehips are not something I want in my beer. Scored objectively.
