Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2022 - day 3. Pours clear honey-gold with a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet, tastes like tea, some leaves, sun-kissed pale malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with some husky pale grains, old lemon rind, more tea notes. So so.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2022 - day 1. Pours clear orange-gold with a foamy, white head. Lightly sweet with notes of pine, sun-kissed malts, dry caramel, semi-ripe oranges. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Light resinous hops in the finish, supportive malts. Tasty old-school British IPA.

From cask at the wonderful Dog & Bell, Deptford, London, 20.11.22. Clear copper – or chestnut. Persistent beige head and lacing. Sweet aroma and taste of sweet pale malt, crystal malt, marple syrup and bark. Medium pine bitterness and sweetness is lingering on. Very quaffable.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 21st October 2022. Copper with shallow foam and scant lacing. Malty aroma and liquid pass, with hints of leafy hops. A finish of leafiness on the tongue, caramel malt and hints of spices. Smooth mouthfeel and light body.
