Opened in September 2014, Bexley Brewery produces good quality real ales.
We aim to brew beers that are distinctive with a range of interesting flavours for you to enjoy.
We use the best quality English malted barleys alongside traditional Kent grown hops & some amazing ones from Australia, New Zealand & the USA to produce beers of exceptional flavour and aroma.

Stillage at the Pig’s Ear Beer Festival, Hackney on 4th December 2019. Crystal clear gold with shallow loose foam. Mildly citric aroma. Zesty citrus in-mouth, with a hint of crisp, fresh apple. Orchard fruits in finish. Smooth mouthfeel and light body.

Cask at Pigs Ear '19, day one, 03/12/19. Golden amber with an off white head. Nose is dried fruits, vinous tones, toffee, biscuit. Taste comprises sweet malts, berry fruits, light sherry kiss, hint of wood. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Passable affair.

Gravicask, third at Swindon's 33rd Annual Beer Festival. Shared with Finn. Clear copper brown body, filmy layer, scattered lacing. Moderate aroma of pale and brown malts. Fresh grass and grainy malts to the taste profile. Smooth ending with discreet bitterness. Fair enough. (26.10.2019).

(Cask at Harp, Charing Cross, London, 29 July 2019) Reddish amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, red fruit and earthy hops. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, red fruit, toast and a balanced earthy bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Gravicask at Spa Valley 9th Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Bubbly surface, clear dark brown, dotted spots on the glass. Inviting aromas of nuts and earthy malts. Fine taste of biscuits, nuts and dark fruits. Drying end with a bitter twist. Likable. (Tunbridge Wells 18.10.2019).

ABV: 4.8%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, pine, ripe fruit, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, fruity hops, fruity, sweet malt, pale malt, citrus, pine, ripe fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at the Kentish Belle, Bexleyheath. Clear amber pour with a white head. Nose of bergamot, spice, orange boiled sweets, light citrus. Flavours of spiced orange, dried fruit, hops. Good.

500ml bottle: BB 31st Jan 2020. Drank on 12th May 2019, brough up to Shropshire by a distant relation. Black/deep Ruby bodied, tanned affair on top. Malts all the way here, roasted and full on. Coffee and dark chocolate notes in the nose and flavours, semi-sweet, semi-bitter; nice.
