The All Day Brewing Company Norwich was set up in 2014. We are based in a 500 year old barn on the Salle Moor Farm Estate in Mid-Norfolk. We are a farmhouse brewery, housed on a working farm with a 20 acre organic orchard attached. We specialise in wild and mixed fermentations, and we have a big barrel ageing project underway.

20/12/2019. Draught at the New Inn, Colchester. An acquired taste, the landlord said, as he suggested a taster first when I ordered a half. But no, I was straight in for the half. Poured clear flat amber with no head. Not appealing to the eye. Very strong sour aroma dominated by the quince, with light malt and yeast, bitter lemon and sweeter notes of bacardi and coke in the background. Light sweetness, moderate bitterness, medium to heavy tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft to flat carbonation. Enjoyed this, it contrasted nicely the 7 pretty traditional cask ales I'd had at their festival ahead of this one.

Draught at Stoneworks in Peterborough. Shared with Finn. Low fawn-coloured head blanketing the glass. Pitch black body. Smell of oak and dark malty-fruits. Dark fruity flavours on a backbone of dark malts woody. Lingering slightly malt-fruity tart end. Hidden alcohol. Fair enough, far from great. (11.02.2019).

Draught at Stoneworks in Peterborough. Shared with Finn. Spotty lacing from a declining white head. Rather dark in the glass, clear amber-copper. Dark fruity aroma, dry and semi-tart. Similar taste of dark fruity tartness followed by a lingering dry and tart ending. Satisfying. (11.02.2019).

Bottle from Hoptimism. Rich aroma of coffee, chcolate, burnt caramel and molasses, with added roast. Dark and glossy. Thick foamy light beige head. A pause before medium bitterness appears. This then drops off leaving a low key bitter/sweet finish. Medium bodied. Creamy. Lazy fizzy carbonation. Boozy finish. Sat under a blanket due to a cold and this is a welcome warning drink.
