Description
The All Day Brewing Company Norwich was set up in 2014. We are based in a 500 year old barn on the Salle Moor Farm Estate in Mid-Norfolk. We are a farmhouse brewery, housed on a working farm with a 20 acre organic orchard attached. We specialise in wild and mixed fermentations, and we have a big barrel ageing project underway.

CBJ Tasting. Thanks to me. A light haze on this amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, fairly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. A lightly tart cherry, a little whiskey barrel fruitiness and a touch of oak barrel vanilla. Airy dry finish. Entertaining, would have never have known that Chevalier malt was involved.

750ml bottle as part of a delivery from the much-missed Hoptimism. Cloudy orange with very little head. Tart aromas, some farmyard character, mothballs, antiseptic. Aroma is a full-on sour, some red wine, soured apricot, tangerine. Sour finish. Medium carbonation but it’s just enough. It grows on me.

Keg at the Kings Arms - Bethnal Green. Pours clear, deep red-brown with basically no head. Smells almost like an oude bruin. Light to medium sweet with soft acidity, background roast, old leather, earth, faint seedy raspberry. Medium to full bodied with delicate carbonation. Mellow warmth in the finish, more berry tang, wood, funk and light acetic notes. It’s pretty good but not really close to resembling a stout.
