On tap at Mikkeller Bar - Seoul, pours a clear ros-tinged copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lacto and a very citric, persimmon-like, raspberry tartness. Flavour is quite tart, with persimmon, raspberry and lacto. Very tart and citric finish, ramping up the acidity but still reeled in by the lacto. Pleasant stuff.

Can: Poured a burgundy with pinkish white cream head. Aroma is berry seed. Taste is berry a bit metallic some linger on the palate.

Cloudy, has a lot of bright fruit and a lot of bitterness, so it’s a bit yeasty but not bad. Less diacetyl than the product from the actual Taedong River brewery.

Hazy, not much head. Stone fruit, a touch overripe, on the nose. Low bitterness and some husky malts to go with the stone fruits on the palate. A splash of alcohol to punctuate the palate. Not coming together that much for me.

Hazy, darkish sort of blonde, thick head. Nice abundant tropical fruit hops on the nose, almost as bright on the palate, just a touch of yeast.

Tap at The Booth. Pale to medium gold, lightly hazy. Nose is citrus, minerals, grains. Sweet, fruity citrus. Orange, yuzu. Grapefruit. Ok. Not really a NE. Just juicy. Bitter finish.
