About
Tipple's Brewery was founded in 2004 by me, Jason Tipple. I was bored with my career in financial services and decided it was time for a change. So in October 2003 I resigned and then had to find some way to earn a living! Some say I should have done that the other way round...

In September 2004 after lots of research and with a passion for good beer, Tipple's Brewery (and my oldest daughter!) was born..

In 2019, Stuart Robinson and Paul Adams joined the business to provide strategic business and investment support.

Bottled (at ChrisO’s BB 09/2013).
Orange color, not much head. Fruity apricot aroma. Very fruity, peach and apricot, yeast. Quite sweet, not showing much of alcohol. This feels more like Belgian Strong Ale than Barley wine.

Bottle that was picked up from Bellingers Jet garage, Grove, Nr Wantage, Oxon consumed 23-07-09 This literally exploded out of the bottle in a Krakatoaesque type fashion. What was left was golden with a white head. Aroma slightly floral and maybe a touch citric. Taste is citric, nicely fruity and crisp. Didn’t quite live up to the exciting entrance but it was fine. Cask handpull at The Market Porter. Reddy chestnut, lasting thin ivory head. Muddy earthy bitter. Very earthy, does leave a dry aftertaste of mud. Some reddish fruit. Not very pleasant to me, but it’s fine, just not my thing.
