(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 26 Feb 2020) Dark ruby red colour with creamy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, red fruit and dark bread. Malty taste with caramel, toffee, chocolate, black-currant, citrus and a mild spicy, citric bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh, tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Bottle at Quarantine Sector 25-65 during the Corona-space-aids outbreak lockdown of 2020. Sneaked outside to Jumbo to get this. DNA-cops followed me on my way back so I had to detour through the neutral zone. Hope this is not my last beer. A somewhat unclear dark golden brew with a fine white head. Sweet malts, straw, mild coriander seed, some kurkuma, light floral hops. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty pleasing beer to chill out with after some lumberjack action building quarantine walls in the jungle hideout today. What a mess.

Bottle at home. Found at Coop, Pr. Hendrikstr. Murky pale dark golden drab with fluffy white head. Sweet grains, doughy wheat, some citrus fruit peel, clove, dead yeasties, weird vegetal/algae-like note. Quite sweet and moderate bitter, full body, unfiltered and buttery creamy feel. Soft carbonation. Bit out of tune. --- Beer merged from original tick of Auntie Flaunty (Hopfenweisse) on 04 Mar 2020 at 21:04 - Score: 6. Bottle from Coop, Pr. Hendrikstr. Pours clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, citrus, koriander. Sugary sweet, creamy, spiced and yeasty. Moderate bitter and earthy undertone. Quite some body and soft carbonation. Didn’t really recognize the mango and Indonesian berries that are in the ingredients, must be subtle quantities. Maybe it’s a Pavlov assumption that I always taste coriander(seed) when I have a Tripel.
