Description
Green Valley Cyder is a beacon of craft cidermaking in the South West of England, dedicated to continuing the best traditions of cidermaking in the county of Devon. Green Valley Cyder is made only from freshly pressed Devon apples, slowly fermented using naturally present yeasts, in a county with near perfect conditions for apple-growing.
Just like wine, each vintage is slightly different but always the distinctive character and appley taste of REAL Devon comes through in the Green Valley Cyder range.

Cask at Secklow Hundred (JDW), Milton Keynes. Yellow, not quite clear. Standard farm cider look. Smell is sour apples, mothballs, vinegar. Lovely taste with a surprising sour tang at the end. A sweet/sour buttermilky aftertaste. Green Valley were my go-to cidermakers when I lived in Devon, good to see they’re keeping up the tradition.
