Bottle at home, picked up from a farm shop in Worcestershire, 22/01/23. Mahogany brown with a good sized lasting beige head. Nose is mellow roast, dried fruit rinds, raisins, cocoa sprinkle, light ashen nip. Taste comprises dark malts, chocolate biscuit, light charr, toffee, brown bread, fruit slice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy enough well rounded porter.

Bottle in Broadstairs, from Wayside Farm Shop, 09/10/22. Clear deep golden with an off white cap that settles to a swirl. Nose is light citric zest, grass, pale malts, breads, hedgerow. Taste comprises orange pale, airy malts, toasted grains, bready notes, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow bitter edge. It's fine.

Nose is caramel, hint of red berries, biscuit, brown bread, straw, grains. Taste comprises dried red berries, biscuit, fruit slice, nutty, brown bread, hint of caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent.
