Description
The Hop Shed is an award winning brewery based on a hop farm in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside. We set up the brewery in a converted chicken shed here on the farm. This inspired the name of our brand and beers, which are all named after breeds of chickens.

21/5/2020. Bottle as Frizzle Worcestershire IPA, 5.0% abv from Crumpton Hill Farm Shop. Pours clear pale golden amber with a short lasting off-white head. Aroma of leafy hops, flowers, citrus, touch of buttery caramel and grass. Moderate sweetness and towards medium bitterness. Moderate body. Quite a nice hoppy malty bittersweet finish. It's not bad.

1/5/2020. Bottle from Crumpton Hill Farm Shop. Pours pale amber with a foamy/creamy off-white head. Aroma of malt, hops, caramel, biscuit and fruit. Moderate sweetness, with a sharp tangy bitterness initially. Slightly oily and watery with average carbonation. Finishes sweet and caramel/bready. For it's low abv it's ok.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Tewkesbury Winter Ales Festival, 7/2/2020. Deep amber in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. An easy drinking mild, with a touch of red berry sweetness, caramel and ripe malts, leading to a gentle finish. Good.
