Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, dark malt, sweet malt, fruity - citrus - orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, nutty, fruity - citrus - orange. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Bottle from Aldi, Inverurie. It pours crystal clear pale gold with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, quite clean, white bread, malt loaf, sweet lemon and gooseberry. The taste is crisp, clean, straw, lemon, soda water, touch grainy, biscuit and hint of gooseberry with a dry finish. Light+ body and and average carbonation. A bit light really. It’s ok, but could been done with being punchier.

On cask at Cloisters. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - geranium and lemon. Taste - lemon curd and more vegetal notes. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a tangy. The tang could be drier. Overall - needs more dry yeast tang.
