Sehr gut! 10/12/11/12/9/12

Bottle via trade, shared at the Tuesday Horal Chugging Tasting. It pours hazy orange-amber with a medium yellow-white head. The nose is dough, earth, brown bread, citrus fruits and mild sweetness. The taste is crisp, earthy, resin, pine, nice bitterness, wood mild astringency, grapefruit/orange rind and some grassiness with a very, dry bitter finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Well-rounded and rather drinkable.

Draught @ The Red Lion. Pours very hazy reddish goldenish brown with a small creamy reddish beige head that slowly dissipates while leaving some lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is malty and hoppy with dark bread, graham crackers, pine needles, dried apricots, freshly cut grass, oily pine and soil. Taste is very bitter and tiny malty with dark bread, whole grain crackers, caramel, oily pine, freshly cut grass, grapefruit juice, dry tobacco, grapefruit rinds, orange peal, lemon zest, soil and moist wood. Mouthfeel is crisp, astringent, dry, tiny harsh, tiny sharp and light bodied. Draught at Gothenburg Beer Festival 2013 (Haket), Saturday, sampled on September 7, 2013.Hazy golden color, white head. Sweet, apricots, Belgian yeast scent, spicy coriander, fresh. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Coriander, sweet, ehrbal, spicy taste. Spicy aftertaste.Fresh and yummy, though the perceiver bitterness feels higher than it "should" for the style, after discussions with the brewers could be the crushed coriander seeds that makes the bitterness pop more.

Draught @ Haket. Pours hazy deep golden with a small frothy white head that quickly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is sweet, fruity, phenolic and perfume-like with crackers, owen baked pears, cookie dough, lemon zest, hay, dry soil, citrus/tropical fruit perfume, yellow winegums and hints of tamarind and green apples. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, tiny sour, phenolic and fruity with crackers, white bread, lemon zest, dry wood, pears, passionfruit, grass, tropical fruit hard candy, tamarind sauce, lemon juice and hints of aftershave, pine and sheet metal. Mouthfeel is round, tiny phenolic astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter and phenolic with crackers, white bread, unripe pears, unripe apples, pineapple hard candy, hay, dry wood and hits of sheet metal and cookie dough. Great Belgo nose supporting an ok beer. Another good one but there are things to work on with the taste that gets very metallic astringent after a while.
