About
Our biggest mission when we set up BrewDog was to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are. And that is still our biggest mission today.

[33cl can from a Brewdog Christmas mixed box.] A golden amber pour with a rim of white head; malty caramel aroma; sweet malty taste with a bready body and a light bitterness. Pleasant, but uninteresting.

Clear gold pour. Grainy malt and lightly citrusy hops. Mild bitterness. Light bodied. Fizzy. Eh, it’s okay.

Bottle DOG B that I picked up many years ago and is 13 years out of date now. Consumed at home Thursday 30th April 2026 watching The Mentalist on Netflix, we had Fish Fingers & Chips tonight for tea. Poured pitch black the light beige head was impressive for a few seconds before it was consumed by the only, oily depths below. It's held up remarkably well, no off flavours, still plenty of chocolate, smooth, rich and actually very decent. Score 7.7

(On tap) Hazy straw with small white head. Spicy peppery aroma. Medium body with good bright carbonation. Great taste. Pepper spice and chili dominate with mango citrus and light malt. Very enjoyable.

Taster showing pale straw with half a finger of clean white foam.

The nose shows moderately intense notes of lemon, light grapefruit, and mild notes of adzuki.

The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Light flavors of lemon with a light tea astringency and a mild bitterness; mild lemon drops towards the end.

Very good stuff. Nothing Bamberg or bock about it. All New Zealand hops really. And it’s quite nice. Well and drinkable. Pretty nicely balanced.
