Can from Asda Aberdeen Beach. It pours cloudy pineapple gold with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is ripe tropical fruits, juicy mango, papaya, nectarine, persimmon, zingy, zesty, lemon - lime and floury bread. The taste is initially smooth, juicy, bright, bitter - sweet, touch green, weedy, super fruity, papaya, orange, mango, persimmon, nectarine, pithy, zesty, floury bread and a touch of sponge cake. Medium body and average carbonation. Flavourful and well balanced. A great value offering.

Can direct from the brewery. It pours oily jet black with a small tan head. The aroma is rich, dark roasted malt, bitter - sweet, umami, salted liquorice, quite savoury, charred oak, dark chocolate torte, cacao nibs, hint of permanent marker pen, spicy rye whiskey, cola, rum soaked oak and salted caramel. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, cacao nibs, dark chocolate, gateaux, bourbon, spicy rye whiskey, fruity rum, raisin, sultana, fruit cake, coffee, warming booze, lightly toasted spice and touch of cinder toffee with a smooth, warming finish. Fulsome body and average carbonation. Not as sweet as the regular vbm series, which is. A ig plus for me. Flavourful and moreish.

The aroma is fresh and tropical, juicy mango, nectarine, peach, guava, watermelon, papaya, touch green and weedy. The taste is is dryish, bitter - sweet, juicy, bright, tropical fruit punch, mango, peach, papaya, pithy, zesty citrus, touch of pine, green, weedy, dank, spring onion and floury bread with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Very well played. Flavourful, balanced and moreish.
