Description
Born out of the creative and inspirational beer scene of Brighton, Laine Brew Co beers are an art form in themselves – each one a playful composition of flavour, inventiveness and good times. They’re unfiltered, unpasteurised, uncompromising – and unique.

We create highly individual and authentic craft beer which is accessible to all, and tastes so damn good! Our core range is focused on consistent, sessionable beers and supported with some awesome, locally inspired designs (think Brighton Skyline guys). We also brew short run, specials and collaboration beers at our North Laine Brewhouse. These are our limited edition wild, weird and wonderful beers that are all a little bit different but brewed just as lovingly as our core range!

Surrounded by the South Downs national park, the brewery is rooted in the countryside while keeping close ties with Brighton.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#2. LONDON. Transiting through London waiting to board a fourth train of the day, but with enough time to enjoy the South Bank show of people walking along the riverside in front of the National Theatre... with a beer of course! Well carbonated hoppy citrus brew, mildly dry in the palate. Sweet taste with citric bitter blast in aftertaste.

Keg at Big John's Billtong Bar, Deptford. Easy going hazy that went well with the superb billtong. Decent bitter ending.

Can from Lidl. Dark gold, small white head. Resonable mango flavour with a decent floral fop coming through. Semi-tart with a decent hoppy bitterness. Decent.

Can from Asda @ 5.9%. Laine are certainly getting their beers into supermarkets recently, Lidl, Tesco and now Asda. Light hazed golden brown with decent fluffy white head. Citrus, marzipan, grapefruit, dusty-floral aroma. Taste of citrus peel, big grapefruit note, pine, resin. Medium bodied, slick, semi-drying close. Laine seem to be a brewery that are going craft but seem several years behind the curve. Here they've created a West Coast IPA that's pretty decent. Nothing madly exciting but I enjoyed it.

Can from Lidl. Clear gold, small white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and a hint of caramel. A nice tangy fruitiness through the taste, I pick up lime and grapefruit. A solid malt base behind. Has a grassy bitter bite in the finish. Near medium bodied and smooth texture. Decent stuff.
