Aus der Flasche (bbe 31.12.2027) im 2023-03 getrunken. Diese sehr feinperlige Bock hat eine kurzweilgie Schaumkrone. Die Aromen sind aber sehr verschlossenen und es ist eher eine Karamellnote mit einer bananenartige Süße wie bei einem Hefeweizen zu entdecken. Nicht schlecht!

Bottle from craft beer shop, drunk after analyzing the costs of construction post-Covid & with Crazy Putin. Hint: it's not ideal. I hope the beer will make things better. Dark brown, moderate tan head. Toasty and somewhat dry nose, on the tongue it tastes a lot caramel-sweeter, but less sugar and body than one would expect for a nine percenter. Dry roasted coffee notes, pretty big (but not super smooth) bitterness, maybe dark/black malt astringency. Interesting one.

Cloudy, deep golden color and a nice white head. Nice nose: Fruity citric aroma, honey, pepper. Intense mouthfeeling, warming, sweetish spicy start, acidic, fruity, slightly honey. Nice salty flavors at finish.

0,33 l bottle. Cloudy golden with a fast fading head. Sour smell, citrus sweetness in the background. Taste is stone fruity, honey, less salty than expected. Slick at the palate. Geting more malty and increasing boozy with bitterness in the second part. Nice one.

Bottle, i forget from where. Lightly hazy amber, moderate head, flowers and hay citrus nose. Flavor is slightly malty, roses and lemon, a bit metallic/mineral flavor. Moderate bitterness.

33cl bottle. A dark orange brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of strong dark brown malt, raisins. Taste of raisins, caramel, dark fruits, ripe fruits.

Würzig malziger Beginn, süßlich hefig, trockener Hintergrund. Ansteigend kräutrig, etwas Alkohol, rund. Unterdurchschnittlich karbonisiert, spritzig, schokoadiger Malzabgang. Gefällt. 10/9/11/10/10/10

330ml bottle [#176/500]. Jet black colour with late awakening, very small, creamy, fading, tan head. Chocolately, dark malty, caramel malty, and BA supported aroma, notes of toffee, dark toffee, dark caramel, chocolate, Bourbon, vanilla. Taste is chocolately, dark malty, caramel malty, minimally alcoholic, notes of toffee, dark toffee, dark chocolate, some Bourbon, subtle residual sweetness; well hidden alcohol, just a minimally warming touch in the finish. Viscous texture, smooth, soft and silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, soft, still efficacious carbonation. Very homogeneous, round, huge on toffee - still a very nice sipper after all these years.
