A pretty perfect old school WCIPA with just a hint of modernity. Heaps of grapefruit, pine and resin but without the really hard core bitterness of the classics. After a few years chasing the haze craze, this is the perfect beer to take me back to my roots. Only criticism - can needs to be bigger. Beer has inexplicably disappeared.

Pours gold with a small lasting head.Nose shows pineapple, lemon, mango and papaya. There's a hint of toffee too.Flavours include coconut, pineapple, lemon zest, and finishes with a bit of a metallic finish.

From a 375ml can on 13/9/2020 (ABV listed as 6.2%, and no suggestion its nitro). Pours and ultra clear light golden with barely any head - looks frighteningly like a light alcohol pale lager. Thankfully, it doesn't taste like one, with some pineapple and passion fruit, against a fairly strong coconut background. Has a pretty firm, sharpish, citric bitterness, which takes it away from quaffer material. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Interesting and pretty good.

Pours gold with a large, white head.Nose shows lemon peel, a savoury capsicum note and some orange.Flavours include chilli, orange, reasonable heat from the chilli, capsicum notes, a pinch of salt. Somewhat reminiscent of a bloody mary.

(Can) Pours clear bright red with big pink head. Tart fruity aroma, berries, yoghurt. Medium body with plenty of frothy carbonation. Taste is sour but not overly so, berries up front with interesting notes of bread and yoghurt developing. Very nice.

From a 440ml can on 13/6/2020 (shared with Butz). Pours a deep red amber with a small head. The nose is mildly malty, but pretty modest. The tastes features lots of caramel and a bit of toffee, fruit and some toast, followed by some firmish piney hops. Medium bodied with moderate to average carbonation. Nicely balanced and quite moreish. A very pleasant, nicely put together red IPA.

From a 440ml can on 16/4/2020. Pours a hazy light golden with a medium head. The aroma is slightly dank, with a hint of spice and yeast. Features a good deal of tropical sweetness up front, followed by a mild to medium bitterness, with a mild spiciness at the back. Has a slightly creamy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. A pretty solid NEIPA if not particularly memorable.

Can. Almost clear golden amber with a loose cm of white head. Gentle aroma of mandarin, peach, mango and bread. 6+ Quite sweet with a bit more body than expected. Fruity but a bit vague before firmer citrus and moderate bitterness grip at the end. Quite like the finish.

Another can from #ratebeersueprtasters and Beer Cartel. Bright orange with some murk. Citrus abounds on nose. Lovely showcase of the hop.

On taster at taproom. Classic golden hue. Cracker biscuit nose. Very true to style with almost a saison yeast flavour coming through. I found this surprisingly appealing.
