Cask at Midland, Stockport (not yet listed in Brewver). Pours a slightly hazy light gold with a small foamy almost white head and excellent lacing. The aroma is mainly malts plus hints of yeast and citrus. In the mouth it is quite bitter with a creamy texture and just little underlying sweetness. Flavours are floral hops and malts with traces of citrus and summer fruits. Bitterness lasts into the finish. This is quite decent.

21/8/2026. Cask at The Orange Tree, Chelmsford, 2026 Summer Beer Festival. Good pour. A very buttery sweet golden. Marmalade notes. Some bitterness comes through but doesnโ€™t lose that initial cloying sweetness. Not a bad beer but not really my cup of tea.

St Anne's Summer Seaside Day.Out Beer#13. I never knew the Old Vic in Preston had outdoor space until this brew, albeit an elevated terrace above a drab concrete car park, but the beer drank in this presence was pleasant. A traditional brew with notes of orange fruit in both aroma and taste, the name of the beer does not lie. It feels indigenous though rather than new world. Quite smooth and darker clear golden in appearance with an attractive head.
