Cask at the Barley Mow, Wolverhampton. Pours deep gold with a medium head. Aroma is sherbet and piney hops. Taste has piney hops and sticky hop oils. A little heavy in the mouth.

7th March 2015: hand-pulled pint in The Pheasant Inn, Wellington while judging a home baked Bread Roll competition. Part of the ’Charter Day’ celebrations. Good golden hue to the body, a full white pillow on top. Hop lead, middle and finish: tropical, floral notes in the nose, but bitter in the taste. A good, honest brew with a malty undertone that prevents the hops running away with the flavourings.

Hand-pulled pint in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire on 27th Nov 2014. Poured a rich golden colour with a smooth foaming head of tight white bubbles, lacing ensued. Floral hop nose, slight citrus hints, dry and semi-bitter taste, hops winning the flavours battle with the malt content in the background. I thought I detected traces of honey within the brew, but not the sweet sort.
