Description
St.Ives Brewery was founded in 2010 by former publican Marco Amura and has steadily grown, experimented and learned a few lessons along the way. Boilers Golden Cornish Ale was our original session ale and remains as popular today as it was back then.
Recently we have consolidated a decade of experience and launched a new core range - we hope you enjoy them! We believe in 'The Art of Brewing'; heavily-hopped IPA's, modern classics and an incredible view from our tap room!
In 2015 we found our new home on Trenwith Burrows and set up our 10 brewers barrel plant along with gift shop and cafe above. With stunning views over St.Ives harbour and onwards to Godrevy Lighthouse, there could not be a more picturesque location to brew award winning beers.
In late 2022 the brewery moved to brand new premises in Hayle.

440ml can from Crossways Inn. Pours murky orange with a fine white head. Aroma: barley, wheat, oats, stone fruits, citrus. The taste follows the aroma, moderate sweet & light to moderate bitter. Medium body with fine carbonation. Another that didn’t look or taste quite right. Mobile canning issues maybe

440ml can from Crossways Inn. Pours murky yellow with a huge white head. Very overcarbed. Aroma: sweet malts, peach, apricot, citrus zest. Taste: moderate sweet & light bitter, peach, light citrus. Medium body with frothy carbonation. This neither looked very attractive in the glass or tasted right so I’d guess it was infected.

Third by cask, second day of GBBF Winter 20, Astbury Bar. Shared with Finn. Crystal clear amber body, filmy layer with bubbles, spotty lacing. Smell of bread, earth and ripe fruits. Taste quite fine with ripe fruits, mid-sweet malts, and a gentle moment of leafy hop bitterness to the ending. Nice Brit bitter. (Birmingham 05.02.2020).
