Description
St.Ives Brewery was founded in 2010 by former publican Marco Amura and has steadily grown, experimented and learned a few lessons along the way. Boilers Golden Cornish Ale was our original session ale and remains as popular today as it was back then.
Recently we have consolidated a decade of experience and launched a new core range - we hope you enjoy them! We believe in 'The Art of Brewing'; heavily-hopped IPA's, modern classics and an incredible view from our tap room!
In 2015 we found our new home on Trenwith Burrows and set up our 10 brewers barrel plant along with gift shop and cafe above. With stunning views over St.Ives harbour and onwards to Godrevy Lighthouse, there could not be a more picturesque location to brew award winning beers.
In late 2022 the brewery moved to brand new premises in Hayle.

Can picked up from Sainsbury's, Hereford after Annasley picked us up from the station. Had this shared with Baz. 26th February 2026 around Jude and Baz's, Spond, Herefordshire whilst making Pizza, well Loz is making it I am just assisting. Pours hazy, murky, warm yellow/gold, white soft textured head, the aroma is mostly citrus dominant, there's grapefruit and sweet orange but also a tropical leaning, taste followingva similar trajectory, a little bitterness. Nice DIPA, wow that's two Cornish beers for me today. Score 7.5

440ml can gifted by the brewery. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of orange and grapefruit, passionfruit, pine resin. Taste of grapefruit, passionfruit, peach, a little bit of coconut cream, piney hop bitterness to finish. Medium bodied, smooth.
Wasn't sure about this one at first but definitely grew on me. A well balanced IPA.

440ml can, gifted by the brewery. Hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of malts, fruity hops. Taste has that telltale AF twang, pale malts, very bready, fruity hops, light bitterness. Medium body, good for AF.
Meh, not a great recreation of the full strength version.

440ml can, gifted by the brewery. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of orange marmalade, resinous. Taste is full on orange marmalade, quite resinous too, sweet malts, caramel, grapefruit, a bit of pine, bitterness is fine but for me it should really be a lot stronger for the style, does come through more as the beer goes on though. Medium bodied.

440ml can (gifted by brewery). Pours a murky golden orange with a white head, some sediment. Aroma of orange, grapefruit, tropical fruits. Taste is sweet, orange, grapefruit, papaya, mango, chewy malts, good piney bitterness at the end. Medium-full bodied.
Nice DIPA, has a bit of an old school lean about it which I always appreciate.

New Year's Eve 2025 Beers #2 of 3. Penultimate beer of 2025 and it's a hazy golden one. It's crips tasting with an exotic fruitiness to be found in both aroma and taste, perhaps a little understated through a dryness, but worthy enough.
