Keg draught at the brewery tap. Reddish brown, a bit insipid looking, very translucent with a thin suggestion of head on top. Malty aroma, hints of red berries, touches of chocolate malt and smoke. Sweet malty taste, more dusty chocolate, perhaps a little bit of cherry. Fairly short finish. Watery body as befits the ABV, but the heavy carbonation lifts it. Not too shabby.

Keg draught at the brewery tap. Golden brown, a tiny bit hazy with a small layer of off-white head. Sugary aroma, some grape, notes of toffee. Sweet taste with a drying medicinal note. Watery body with heavy carbonation. I wasn't all that keen.

Can on 14th May 2023 from William Ellis Farmers Market. Pours hazy amber with shallow disappearing foam and spot lacing. Earthy pungency in aroma. Bitter and pungent in-mouth, with leafy, grassy hoppiness and citrus notes. A hoppy finish. Medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.
