Draft glass @ Gollem’s Proeflokaal. Clear industrial orange, soapy white head. Nose is bland overly sweet BE esters, plastic honey & metallic. Taste is metallic BE esters, sugar, plastic, honey & high carbonation. Fare for tripel adapts.

Pour is a hazy orange color with a large white head. Aroma is some wet grain and coriander with some honey. Flavor is more honey with some elderflower and more of a cereal malt backbone. There is obviously some type of spice additive here and this is not a straight up simple triple. It was decent with enough with a few different flavors to make it interesting. Better then the overall score on here.

Bottle from a Carrefour in Ninove. Pours hazy golden with a big, foamy, white head; little lacing. The aroma contains lemon zest, apricot, breadcrumb, pepper, yeast, soap, flowers, coriander, honey. It tastes medium bready sweet, malty, hint of ripe fruit, and light to medium spicy bitter, yeasty & grassy with a very light lemony & wheaty sour back. Dry, grassy hoppy finish, spicy & wheaty in the back. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Perhaps thanks to the brewery, quite 'different' from other Belgian Ales. Balanced.

Van het vat @ Ark van Noë in Lichtaart. Donkergeel tot oranjekleurig bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is licht zoet en kruidig met iets van banaan. Fijn biertje voor een warme dag.

Draught @ Cafe Hoegaarden, Tilburg. Clear yellow golden color, medium sized white head that lasts for a short while and leaves good lacing. Aroma is malts, lighrly herbal. Taste malts, malt bitter underlying base but sweet flavors with herbal notes are dominant. Body is decent to medium, texture ia quite oily, decent carbonation. For a Belgian beer it is very pleasantly carbonated I must say, as they often have insane fizzy carbonation. Pleasant.
