21/XI/17 - on tap @ Horeca Expo (Ghent) - BB: n/a (2017-1901) Thanks to the brewers for today's samples and my Ghent beer posse for sharing the glasses and keeping my liver sane. :p
Clear orange beer, big creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, little adhesive. Aroma: spicy, lots of alcohol, something rubbery, chemical, weird? MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very spicy, rubbery bitterness, fruity notes, quite some banana, soft alcohol, bit sweet, malty. Aftertaste: yeast, bit spicy, honey touch, little bitter, spicy, some alcohol, still something chemical / rubbery, dry finish. I liked last year's edition (Calvados) much better!
