Panda thanks to Cloin. A light haze on this amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth malts, fairly dry, a little caramel and cream. Some Belgian like esters. Mild alcohol spice on the semi dry finish. I do appreciate breweries attempting a straight barleywine, you don't see that many these days. That said, this has no malt depth and if I'd been given this blind I would have likely said it was a quad.

Orange with a fizzy white head. Has a sweet citrus profile over a pale malt backbone. Not really a lot going on here. Medium bodied. Finish is the same. Nothing wrong with this but very pedestrian.

Black with a light beige head. Sweet berries, a bit of earth, dark sugars, roasted malt, a bit sour. Medium bodied. Finish is dry. I always want more rum influence on these rum aged beers. Sure, I pick up some notes of dark sugars and that could be from the rum but there is so much more to rum than that yet the stout seems to lack it. It’s a tasty beer, no doubt. But I wanted rum in this stout.

Can at home, was staying up for ENG but fuck that ... bent FIFA cunts will have us out anyway, wee hours 06/07/2026.
Moderately hazed golden to deep amber topped with a lasting light egg shell white head.
Nose is fruit esters, toffee, spice, light herb, grains, modest barrel.
Taste comprises fruit cake, caramel, biscuit, mellow barrel, sugar dusting.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, drying close with a lick of booze.
Okay sipper but a little restrained on all fronts.

Black with a tan head. Dry coffee, roasted malts, some burnt malt, plenty of licorice, cocoa, a bit of earth. Medium bodied. Finish is very dry with cocoa bitterness and licorice. The licorice brings a touch of sweetness to balance this otherwise rather dry stout. It’s a fine beer.
