Clear orange with a white head. Big tropical citrus and resin come together with pale malts and a touch of herbal. Some candied fruit follows along. Medium bodied. Finish is nicely bitter with pine and citrus. This is lovely.

Can @ Herøya. Black body under a big, creamy beige head. Aroma has smooth, roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa nibs and hint of vanilla. Taste is balanced sweet, smooth, light roasted dark malt, coffee, chocolate, liquorices and balanced bitterness. Balanced body with a smooth, long lasting aftertaste. Lovely, quite classic stout.

440 ml can, as Hope Export Stout Seasonal Brew, from Vinmonopolet Nærbø. ABV is 7.5%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roast malts, mild coffee and dark chocolate, a hint of liquorice. Smooth and pleasant flavour, with the same elements, slightly on the dry side, also with moderate bittering hops (48 IBU).
