From tap. Pours hazy orange, white head. Aroma is mild herbal malty to grassy. Dry, herbal and slight salty. Dry and herbal far finish. Toasted malty and slight herbal far finish.

On tap at Krüger's Eck, Berlin. Shared with little Dina. Unclear golden, small off-white head. Aroma is intense coriander, some herbs, some citrus, some malts. Lightly salty taste, some sweetness, some tartness. Medium body. Lots of coriander still. Minimal bitterness. Light sweet finish.

Gezapft bei Hops & Barley. Dunkles Braun, wenig beiger Schaum. Aroma: Malz, Haselnuss, Karamell. Geschmack: mittlere Süße, Nuss, Karamell, etwas Schokolade.

Hops & Barley Cider, ca. 4,5 %, vom Faß auf dem Braufest Südwest in der Domäne Dahlem. - Satt orangegelb, trüb. - In der Nase herbsüße Äpfel, Apfelmus, Anklänge an Zimt und Honig, Hefe, ganz leise alkoholisch. - Antrunk spritzig aber füllig säuerlich-herb apfelig, zart kellerig und mit beträchtlicher, leicht marmeladiger Restsüße, die die Säure perfekt ausbalanciert. Leichte Birnenaromen (obwohl laut Auskunft der Brauer ohne Birnen gebraut). Füllig, weich. Im Abgang deutliche, angenehm natürliche Herbe. - Deutlich anders als ein hessischer Ebbelwei, voller und aromatischer. Auf seine Weise ganz ausgezeichnet. (22.6.2024.)

50 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden orange, white head. Aroma is grainy and greasy/ oily hops. Mild citrusy, sweet malty impression. Crisp hoppy. Bitter and slight citrusy. Dry and crisp hoppy finish.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren. Pitch black coloured, small brownish head, roasty vinous nose. Light roasted malt, weak chocolate and some dried fruits with tartish finish. Half or almost dead.

Bottle from H&B, Berlin. Murky brownish body, off-white head. Ah, went down somewhat, creamy, raisins, bit funky, vegetal, caramelly... Lean, dry taste, chocolate, raisins, light funk. Actually pretty tasty and drinkable even though it's clearly gone by now. Won't take it much against it. Real feel is around 3.0/2.9.

0.33 l bottle thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague, shared with Ogi and him. Dark brown, small beige head. Aroma is roasty, toasty and cardboard. A hint of sour fruit, not in the best shape. Medium body, roasty, burnt flavour, tart red fruit. Unclean. Soft texture, tart finish.
