Brouwerij Eembier is op 18 mei 2006 opgericht. Sinds 2006 brouwt Eembier al haar bieren volgens het Reinheitsgebot. Krachtige hoppige bieren zónder toevoegingen zoals kruiden. Onze Eembieren krijgen alle tijd om rustig te rijpen in de lagertanks. En dat proef je terug in onze smaakvolle bieren!

Sinds mei 2018 heeft brouwerij Eembier haar eigen brouwlocatie,
gelegen naast de haven in het pittoreske vestingstadje Elburg. In 2023 trekt Stadsbrouwerij Vos in het pand, en is Eembier weer een brouwerijhuurder, bij Huttenkloas.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roastaroma with coffee and chocolate. Hint of ash. Full bodied. Fat malty, roasty flavor with coffee, chocolate and dried fruit. Hints of bacon. Fat, full bodied and sweet.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Roast and pastachoca in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty flavor with licorice and pastachoca. Hints of apple and raisin. Beary good!

Tap Burg Bierfeest 2013. Blonde. Coreander and citrus in the aroma (no spices, says the brewer, it is the yeast). Malty sweetish floral citric flavor. Slightly perfumed. Firm hopbitter finish.

Dankjewel Sinterklaas! Bottle. Murky brown color. Soft caramelaroma with a hint of pear drups. Malty sweet yeasty caramelly flavor. Hint of licorice. Not world shocking.

Bottle. Golden color. Citric hay-like aroma and flavor. Slightly tart, yeasty with a hint of butter. Firm hopbitter finish. Not entirely clean, but drinkable.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Malty caramelly aroma with some distant roast and melon. Roasty caramelly firm hopbitter flavor. American hops. citrus and red berries hidden behind the roast. Well made beer.

Bottle, 2 years waiting in my cellar to be consumed. Dark brown color. Apple, lauwel and a hint of porto in the aroma. Medium bodied. Malty flavor with porto. Remains of hops. Roast. Hint of chocolate. has matured fairly well.

Bottle. dark brown color. Roast, licorice and pear drups in both aroma and flavor. Sweetish, roasty. Laurel. Medium bodied with a hint of alcohol. Sticky mouthfeel. Not without character.

Botte. Murky brown color. The tiniest chunks of yeast. Red fruit and mango in the aroma. Hops, red fruit, ripe mango and cinnamon in the flavor. Full bodied. The hops compensate the sweetness. Good balance.

Bottle. Golden color. Grassy, slightly herbal aroma with hints of tropical fruit. Pineapple, grapefruit and oily hops in the slightly herbal hopbitter flavor. Thinnish, but tasty.
