Brouwerij Eembier is op 18 mei 2006 opgericht. Sinds 2006 brouwt Eembier al haar bieren volgens het Reinheitsgebot. Krachtige hoppige bieren zónder toevoegingen zoals kruiden. Onze Eembieren krijgen alle tijd om rustig te rijpen in de lagertanks. En dat proef je terug in onze smaakvolle bieren!

Sinds mei 2018 heeft brouwerij Eembier haar eigen brouwlocatie,
gelegen naast de haven in het pittoreske vestingstadje Elburg.

Bottle. dark brown color. Roast, licorice and pear drups in both aroma and flavor. Sweetish, roasty. Laurel. Medium bodied with a hint of alcohol. Sticky mouthfeel. Not without character.

Botte. Murky brown color. The tiniest chunks of yeast. Red fruit and mango in the aroma. Hops, red fruit, ripe mango and cinnamon in the flavor. Full bodied. The hops compensate the sweetness. Good balance.

Bottle. Golden color. Grassy, slightly herbal aroma with hints of tropical fruit. Pineapple, grapefruit and oily hops in the slightly herbal hopbitter flavor. Thinnish, but tasty.

Bottle. Deep golden color. peach, citrus and grassy oily hops in the aroma. Firm grassy citric hopbitter flavor. Lasting hopbitter aftertaste. Medium bodied. Well balanced. Delicious.

Bottle. Blonde. Dominant peat in the aroma. Malty soft fruity flavor with peat in the background, lingering on and getting stronger in the aftertaste. Looks like a compromize between the harshness of the peat and drinkability, without finding the right balance.

Bottle. Almost black. Roast, coffee, licorice and citric hops in the aroma. Roasty yet hopbitter flavor with coffee and licorice. Citrus and pineapple. A mess of aromas and flavors, yet quite drinkable.

Bottle. Almost black and opague. Roast, ash and dark chocolate in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty flavor with chocolate and licorice. Thinner as expected Nice one, maybe a bit onedimensional.

Bottle. Deep amber color. Tagerine aroma with floral hops. Oily grassy hopbitter flavor with tangerine and mango. Earthy, grassy hopbitter aftertaste. Very nice!

Tap. Golden blonde. Citrus leather and onions in the aroma. Dry, bretty flavor with white pepper, citrus, onions and leather.
