2014 Bottle. Pours with a hazy golden orange hued body with a retentive white head. Aromas are of floral hops, grassy and mildly funky notes, low esters, very green, a touch of suntan lotion. Delicate, floral phenols, low malt. Flavors have a light apricot like fruit ester up front, somewhat doughy malt character, floral and lightly citrus hop character. Yeasty. Mild bitterness, dry finish. Lightly acidic. High carbonation.

(2011 vintage) Crimson pour, not much head. Nose has a dessert wine, creamy caramel and sweet corn with a touch of whiskey. Sweet, really refined taste.You get this oxidized tongue coating brandy or scotch. Mild burn at the finish. touch of rice and really sweet with a tough olive oil.

dark orange slight hazy with a 1 finger sticky head. Smells like orange peel, lemon and some rye. Decent mouthfeel. sweet throughout, sort of a summer shandy orange peel and a touch of honey. it’s pretty good but wouldn’t buy again.

One Mile House, NYC tap: Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is lightly fruity, a bit funky, somewhat spicy. Basically, all of the saison things are there in good measure, but never excessive. Taste is much the same. Lightly sweet. Somewhat spicy. Mildly hoppy. I liked it. True to form.

Batch 002 bottled about 2011. Clear amber/ red hue. No head. Aroma is dark fruit, sugar candy, plum and dates. I LoVE my barely wines slightly oxidized. The flavor is smooth and sweet with a mild sugary hint in the finish. ABV is nowhere to be found with a slick mouthfeel. A nice treat split with friends.

750 ml bottle. Hazy gold/amber hue color. with lasting head retention. Aroma is citrus organe and light yeasty Belgain character. The tingle on the tongue is zesty with a crisp after taste. Real bright and zesty character. Really nice.

375ml bottle pours a hazy, caramel amber with one ring of off white head. Nose has lots of raisin, prune, clove, fruit cake. Flavor is raisin, black pepper, clove, stale malt, caramel. Spicy, hot finish.

Bottle. Red dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is licorice, roasted malt, hop, toffee. Flavour is is licorice, malt, hop, toffee, sugar, dried fruits, yeast. Nice beer.

Pour is a lemonaid lookalike with a huge white head. Aroma is lemony with some pepper and spicy hop. Flavor is lemon and spicy hop with a decent yeastiness. Very light though with a loads of prickly carbonation. Finish is gone in a second but altogether refreshing in a way.
