Description
Bevog microbrewery is the fruit of inquisitiveness and aspiration towards discovering new beer-drinking experiences; it is the result of enthusiasm, love and zeal. We brew beers with character and soul. Our goal is to transcend the limits of the known and ordinary. We have had enough of a monotonous beer offer and the belittling of beer. Beer can be and is much more than that. Bevog brewery is dedicated primarily to beers of top fermentation, more commonly known as ales. The ales we brew basically originate from England. In the last few decades this highly diverse type of beer has been given greater breadth, a wider range of flavors, has been shifting the boundaries of individual styles and becoming more and more popular around the world. It is gaining popularity not only with beer lovers and beer drinkers, but in general with gourmets, top chefs and people who are always willing to explore new flavours and experiences and who care about what they ingest.
Despite the English roots of ales, we here at Bevog are very creative and do not stick to the established norms. We design our beers in our own way, the way we know is right. We choose a beer style, take it apart, add a broad spectrum of gained knowledge, ideas and views, put it back together and polish it into our own beer, which is not rigidly cemented in the prescribed frames of an individual style. When creating recipes, we strive towards perfection and above all refuse all compromise, which is otherwise sadly in abundance in modern mass production.
All of the above has been confirmed by the received awards and prizes, and above all by the many super pleased drinkers of our beer.
Cheers!

deep dark colour, huge, creamy and long lasting brown head; well balanced aroma of smoke and roasted malt, with some coffee and maybe chocolate;taste is less complex for me: smoked and roasted malt; would be much better if its taste was less one-dimensional

Draught @ Biercab, Barcelona
Pours amber orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of caramely malts, grassy hops, creamy sweetness and fruits. Taste is smooth, creamy and grassy hoppy with some biscuity bready maltiness. Finish is lingering bitter and sweetish with caramely and biscuity maltiness. Okay APA with a German twist.

Bottle from Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Clear, very dark red. Pale brown, lasting, slightly bubbly, head. Dark, high cocoa content, chocolate. A hint of coffee. A hint of vanilla. Taste is unripe, dark fruit dry. Some burnt wood bitterness. Not much in the way of balancing sweetness. Expected some oaty creaminess, too. Quality beer, just not in the, "last beer of the night, thick, graviness", you sometimes want. *Graviness being a real word, of course*.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a creamy and lacing light brown head. Hard roast aroma with a distinct smokiness. Medium body, quite dry with a heavy, burned roastiness that adds a rather malt bitter touch all through to the finish. Smoky notes alright, but not enough to define this as a Smoked here on RB. 180214

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear deep golden with a white head. Strangely farty hop aroma combined with quite some diacetyl. Medium body, some sweet fruit and caramel with a whiff of exotic hop notes. Quite a hoppy finish, and again a metallic finish. 180214

Bottle 33 cl. pours a clear amber with a small, white head. Sweet caramel and rather distinct diacetyl in the nose. No real aroma hops. Medium body, sweet caramel and some hops in there alright, but they don’t come out as anything but bitterness. Has a metallic finish. 180214
