Draft. Clear amber color. Burnt caramel aroma. Very bitter resiny taste, almost an IPA.

Pour is a black with a large tan head. Aroma is a nice bitter bakers chcocolate with some roast malt. Flavor is all equal parts coffee and chocolate with a nice roast and bitterness. This is a extremely flavorful stout, maybe a bit too bitter but this has plenty of chocolate and coffee.

Bomber from His Nibs in Anaheim. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma of prunus fruits, lightly cooked. Med + body. Flavor is prunus fruits with some slightly cooked caramel and a touch of earth (although cactus came to mind). It’s a bit far from dry, and it’s bitter enough for me. Finishes with a sort of ripe prunus fruit impression. I really like it, but it’s not at the top for current IPAs. 5 or 10 years ago I bet this would have been hot!

22 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grapefruity, slight pine hoppy. Citrusy. Sweet, fruity and citrusy. Crisp hoppy and smooth fruity finish. Lingering hoppy finish.
